I have been studying piano for 15 years, and have been teaching for 2. I began teaching while attending Berklee College of Music. Explaining music to students helped me understand it better. I started piano lessons learning classical, but I switched to jazz when I was 16. Bill Evans was one of my first inspirations; I was immediately inspired by his voicings and chord choices.
