Aspergers
I am a vendorized personal assistant through SF’s state of California golden gate regional center (for persons with developmental disabilities). In this capacity I have worked closely for four years with a man who has Aspergers syndrome and I have become very familiar with this disability and skilled in assisting and supporting my client who has Aspergers syndrome.
ADD/ADHD
I have considerable experience teaching in Special Education classes with children and young adults diagnosed with ADD and ADHD. I have worked in group homes as a manager and as a counselor with individuals diagnosed with ADD and ADHD and have considerable experience counseling and teaching these individuals. Additionally, over the years, I have tutored a large number of children and adults with ADD and ADHD issues. I also have a background working as a clinical case manager with a clinical caseload including clients with ADD and ADHD diagnoses and issues. I also have worked in a state mental hospital with patients exhibiting the symptoms of ADD and of ADHD. For the past four years, I have worked through a California state agency with a client on the Autism Spectrum who has serious issues related to ADD and ADHD issues in addition to autism.

Eric worked with my son for 90 minutes on writing. Eric is very patient and has a special knack for engaging his students. My son was present and eager to participate for the entire lesson.
