Danita

A.P. Chemistry Teacher, well recommended

As a former A.P. Chemistry teacher in Kentucky, with excellent success rate on the AP Chem exam, I began tutoring Chemistry when I moved to Colorado last summer. On maternity leave from my Chemistry Teaching job in Douglas County, I find that tutoring is even more fun than teaching. I try to break the learning down into its simplest elements. I have paid much attention to where students go wrong and how to avoid those mistakes. I love chemistry and algebra, and I try to make that love of the...

Danita is very incredible at finding a way to explain even the most difficult Chemistry concepts so that I can understand and appreciate their meaning and use. She is an excellent teacher and has made it possible for me to get through College Chemistry when I didn't think that was possible!

Danita is by far the best tutor I have had; this is saying a lot because I had a tutor every semester of undergrad. Danita helped my general chemistry score boost 6 points on the Dental Admission Test, this brought it from a well below average score to a competitive score. I learned more from her in a few weeks than I did the whole year I took it at the university. Without her I would have not been able to get as many interviews for dental school or get accepted so quickly.

Danita is awesome to work with and very helpful! She breaks things down in a way that truly makes sense and is easy to understand.

Danita is very patient and explain things very clearly. I have learned with her things I have never learned before in class. She helped me with chemistry: balancing equations, writing net ionic equations, finding percent yield, enthalpy change... Great tutor!

15 year old sophomore here, taking AP Chemistry. I needed some help in the weeks before my final exam, and Danita was very helpful. I'm definitely going to use her for a tutor for the rest of the year.
