I am a graduate of Georgia State University. I received my Master of Arts in Gerontology with a focus on research and my Bachelor of Sciences in Public Policy with a focus on local management and governance. Since graduation, I have worked 4 years as a research assistant with the University System of Maryland and worked with organizations gathering donations for various non-profit causes.
