I am very lucky to have Helen as a tutor. I have worked with several language instructors, both government and privately contracted while I was learning some of the other languages that I know. However, Helen has proven to be more effective as a language instructor than anyone I have worked with in the past. I have been working with her for only a few months but I have already made great strides in my understanding of the Russian language. The level of patience and professionalism she has as an instructor is better than any that I have ever experienced. Additionally, she is very easy to contact and coordinate with. We went over the alphabet, which she patiently repeated many times for me. We learned forms of etre (to be) and s'appeler (to be called) as well as masculine and feminine. She had me listen to inflections and determine if it was a question or statement.
