Jesse is a fantastic math tutor. I spent 6 weeks in Steamboat, Colorado during late summer/fall and needed help studying for the math portion of the GRE. Jesse was extremely helpful and always able to accommodate for my schedule. He did a great job of breaking down math concepts that I didn't initially understand, and was always very patient and thorough when I needed him to repeat himself before the explanation sank in. I would recommend Jesse to anyone preparing for the GRE!

Just realized I never wrote my review for this terrific tutor! This was simply the best experience I could have hoped for. I booked Jesse for my 7th grade son who attends an academically hardcore prep school in Miami. This year my son went AWOL for a week from school so that we could ski Steamboat as a family, and we hired Jesse for four days to help keep him on track and up to speed with Pre-Algebra and a few other subject tasks. As a professional, Jesse was prompt, instantly likeable, knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and efficient. He came to the house we had rented near the ski resort which was great because it is hard enough for a kid on vacation to focus without all the extra distraction of a Starbucks or book store cafe. All the other "teacher" tutors I had found through local friends did tutoring in public places. Sitting in a coffee shop waiting for the session to finish is not my idea of a vacation apres ski so Jesse's mobility was a huge advantage. Even though his credentials qualify him for much greater academic challenges than helping a bright 13 year old stay current with Math concepts and homework, Jesse really applied himself and provided more than just stewardship. My son's Math and History teachers even had compliments for my son's ability to learn new material while away and not miss a step upon his return. Both teachers had misgivings about the absence, but they went on to mention on the subsequent quarterly report my son's success with negotiating work while away. This is no small accomplishment since my son has difficulty staying on task even in his day to day school work let alone while on vacation. I can't thank Jesse enough for his patience and guidance. Jesse was even kind enough to agree to also "tutor" my 6 year old German nephew who had been asked to "write" postcards while on his trip to America. This was a Herculean task due to my nephew's lack of focus and limited English skills but Jesse persevered and really tried to have a impact as an educator and not just a baby sitter. This shows that as a tutor Jesse is not just "clocking time" as most people in his position would have done. 100% we will use his services again should we be fortunate enough to be able to travel to Steamboat again next year.

My daughter is in Integrated Math III at the high school. She has started meeting with Jesse once a week for help in this class. She says Jesse is very good at explaining concepts, helps her do the work, and is very knowledgeable. She also feels she can do the work on her own after sessions with him. And she says he's a nice guy! I'm very grateful to have found him to help my daughter this year. Jesse is very responsive on email, and he clearly and regularly communicates with us.
