In order to be competitive when applying to a number of her top-choice colleges this fall, my younger sister needed to have four years of a language under her belt. However, due to a scheduling issue that occurred during her Freshman year, she was on target to only finish out 3 years by the end of her senior year. So we did our research and after reviewing score of potential tutors, we decided to ask Francine to tutor my sister over the summer between her junior and senior year to see if she could test our of French 3 and go directly into French 4 during her last year in High School. We knew that it was going to be a huge challenge to try to get a full year of language studies into only two and a half months, but felt like we had to make a good faith effort. Francine was nothing less than a miracle worker! My sister worked with her twice a week for an hour and a half at a time all summer and was not only able to pass directly into French 4 this year, but start the year ahead of her peers in her language abilities. For the fist time ever, she tells us that "French is a breeze." Her current teacher is amazed by her progress! We cannot thank Francine enough for her stellar teaching style and techniques. Not only did she give my sister a leg up in her studies, she has given her the chance to be competitive for colleges that would otherwise be out of her reach. We would strongly recommend Francine as a language tutor to anyone and everyone in the market. You could not find a better, kinder or more capable French tutor than Francine!
