ADD/ADHD
I have a teaching credential in special education as well as a Special Education Director's License. I have taught special education for over 7 years. In addition, I was an administrator that oversaw a special education department of over 80 staff members. I have worked with students with attention issues by helping create environments in the classroom and tutoring that remove distractions and create opportunities for students to be able to understand how to self-manage their attention issues. Students who are diagnosed with ADHD and ADD, must learn how to manage their work and schedule in a format that works with their organizational needs.

In my teaching and tutoring roles, I have worked with students that are identified with Aspergers. In this work, I have created lessons that meet the student's needs. The work should be presented in a manor that is the challenging, but obtainable to relieve the pressure of the task at hand.
