Megan just completed the first lesson for our 16 yr old son studying for the ACT. She was able to quickly assess his strengths and challenges and has a beginning strategy to significantly improve his scores. She worked well with him, and we have high hopes. Megan is very professional, thorough, great energy, and in our opinion has much to teach our son that will help him improve his scores. We look forward to working more with Megan.

Megan helped my daughter prepare for the ACT, and did a great job. My daughter has some memory and processing speed issues, and Megan went out of her way to try new techniques to help her in addition to the regular techniques she uses to tutor for this test. Additionally, Megan demands a lot from her students, which I consider a definite plus, and was great at communicating with me throughout the entire time she was working with her. My daughter said the tutoring with Megan was more beneficial then the tutoring she received at Huntington (and more cost efficient!). We highly recommend her!

Megan is an amazing tutor! My daughter was struggling in math and science. Megan helped her understand and feel more comfortable with the two subjects and by the end of the school year she was excelling in both. During parent-teacher conferences, her teachers even told me that they were impressed by her improvements. I will definitely be sending my other daughter to see Megan.

My daughter has had a few lessons with Megan and has already learned a lot and is more relaxed about doing her homework and studying for tests. She did very well on her last test and we will definitely keep seeing Megan for tutoring!!

Megan is an amazing tutor! She is really good at explaining things and giving great practice problems to work through. Megan also had useful tips that I can use on the GRE. I highly recommend her!

Don't know what the kids would do without Megan. She does a tremendous job. Will continue to use her for several subjects including ACT Prep.

Thank you Megan! I know a review is the best way to thank you for all you have done for my two boys. They now are more confident in Algebra and Geometry. They have improved immensely, coming up 1.5 letter grades in 11 sessions. I ask them after each session; "Do you understand it now" and they always respond "Yes." The methods and how you explain it to them, is making a difference. It is all in the presentation of material, you are connecting with kids! Thank you!

Megan was a huge help to me with ACT tutoring. I started out with a 25 and after two months of tutoring (14 lessons), I got a 29 (27 in October and 29 in December). My biggest improvement was my reading score. I started out with a 21 in that section and after doing countless reading passages and just learning how to implement a new technique Megan showed me, I got up to a 31 on my December test. Without the different techniques that she showed me, there is no way I could've improved my score by that much. She can look at your strengths and weaknesses and base your sessions off of those so you will work on exactly what you need in order to improve your score. She is very patient and personable, as well as flexible with scheduling! If you are wondering if tutoring is worth the money, we spent about $800 total in tutoring sessions and the amount of money I received in scholarships has gone up thousands of dollars (so $50/hr is well worth it). I would highly recommend Megan if you are looking for an ACT Tutor, she is amazing!

My son start working with Megan at the beginning of this school year. He is a sophomore taking Geometry, and struggles with dyslexia and attention span, so absorbing material in class is not always the easiest for him. One on one is something my son has always needed. After six months of weekly sessions, he "gets it!" He now helps his friends with their homework, and is the one participating in group discussion in class. Thank you Megan for helping my son develop understanding and self confidence in math! Yay!

My daughter says Megan is her favorite tutor ever. she showed her ways to work through problems that no other teacher ever taught her. She said Megan is fantastic at getting her to think through the math problems instead of just telling her what to do. She helps her understand difficult concepts and gives her praise when she figures out the answers. I highly recommend Megan as a tutor!

Megan had a real challenge with our son going into the ACT. He is a super smart kid, but has ADD and an auditory processing disorder. She has been very patient and diligent with him. And his scores have increased tremendously! Her system really works, BUT the student must be willing to commit and practice. It is very possible that our son may get into the college of his choice. We will most definitely be using Megan for our younger son as well.
