Many people think Organic Chem is impossible. Omkar makes it seem easy. I understood more in my first two sessions with Omkar than I did in the whole first month of lecture with my professor. I've had about 4, 2 hour lessons so far reviewing organic chemistry with Omkar and so far, I can't think of anything I'd complain about. Omkar has been very patient, knowledgeable, and professional but not intimidating. As someone who is very shy, I was surprisingly comfortable and able to easily focus on the material. The reasoning and logic behind chemistry rarely comes naturally to me (I've failed orgo. 2 before), so having someone there to patiently explain things helps me a lot to learn the concepts, rather than just resort to brute memorization. Omkar regularly pauses to let me write things down, digest info., or ask Qs so I never feel like I'm running behind, like I would in a college lecture. I specified that I wanted a tutor that would not just answer troublesome Qs, but would provide structure. I didn't want the hassle of having to figure out what material I need to cover when or what problems to do. Omkar not only is accessing my knowledge and deciding when to cover what material for me, but also is going through example problems to ensure I understand the concepts, and assigning problems for me to do in between lessons for practice.
