During my 40 years in education, I've enjoyed serving as a speech-language pathologist, special educator, teacher of the hearing-impaired, and principal. Most importantly, I love working with children! It is so rewarding to successfully help children with special needs to improve their communication skills and develop confidence and skills. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, I hold my CCC-SLP and CT state license. I also hold both teacher and administrator certificates and I've worked with PreK- college age students. During my career, I have presented numerous workshops for parents and educators. Within my current workshops, I share creative multisensory interventions for speech, language and early literacy. One of my interests is in creative methods to connect sounds and letters. As President of Creative Speech Products, I currently do training and develop interactive materials that connect speech, language and literacy. I believe strongly that teaching and learning should be both focused and engaging...and fun! Tutoring would be an absolutely wonderful way to work closely with families to help their child meet success! My training and experience in speech language pathology has included working with children with a wide variety of needs. I would love to hear from you!
