ADD/ADHD
While working as the head 11/12 grade Learning Center teacher, it was my responsibility to provide services to ADD/ADHD students both within the Learning Center environment as well as within the regular education classroom. I put into place individualized accommodations for students with attentional difficulties that allowed them success within their regular program.
Aspergers
While running the 12 grade learning center it was my job to meet the needs of each individual student. I was responsible for assisting Aspergers students with their regular education classes as well as preparing them for the transition from high school to college.
