Ivan is a true educator and a very pleasant individual! I hired Ivan as a Statistics tutor for an 8-week course in Quantitative Application in Criminology. (I am glad I did because he was more of a professor than the one teaching the course.) I am finishing up my MA in CJ with a concentration in Forensic Psychology and I needed help to pass the course. I was very nervous going into the course as I had trouble in previous statistics classes. Also, I was quite apprehensive about hiring someone I don’t know. But all my doubts vanished when I had my first session with Ivan. He made me comfortable and I knew that I was in good hands, from the get-go. He purchased the book my course was using and I also emailed him the course syllabus. The following session, he already discussed material that was necessary for me to understand yet; it wasn’t examined in the book. I met Ivan twice a week for an hour session sometimes more and also we had a few phone as well as online sessions. Ivan is patient, accommodating, knowledgeable, and not only in statistics but he was able to apply the subject to criminology with practical examples. He helped me tremendously with comprehending statistics from the basics to the more advanced areas. He’s dedicated and he doesn’t just show up. He was prepared for every class because he want’s you to succeed. I wish all professors had the same attitude toward pupils and education. I went into this course thinking that I will definitely fail it. Well, I ended up with an A-! Not too shabby. It seems all easy now but it was the most trying 8 weeks of my life. I would have never pass the class let alone with this grade if it wasn’t for Ivan! I would ABSOLUTELY recommend him to anyone!
