I am a CT Elementary Certified Teacher. I currently teach at a private school for students (grades K-5) with dyslexia, ADHD/ADD and other learning disabilities. I have completed training for Orton-Gillingham's Classroom Educator certification and am currently completing the coursework for the Associate level. I use OG on a daily basis with my students and have a variety of materials to supplement the program. In addition to OG, I have also completed training and certification for Lindamood-Bell's Visualizing and Verbalizing comprehension program. This program is designed to aid students comprehension using a multi-sensory approach. Finally, the school I work for has created a unique Executive Functioning curriculum. This has allowed me to provide my students with executive functioning support across all content areas. I am seeking private tutoring in Brookfield and/or the surrounding towns (Bethel, New Milford, Newtown, Bridgewater, Danbury, Ridgefield). I look forward to hearing from you!
