As a high school teacher, some of my favorite moments are when I am working with a student one-on-one, and I can see that he/she suddenly "gets it." I have always enjoyed reading and writing; I completed my undergraduate degree at NYU in 1989 and my Master of Arts degree in English in 1993. I also have a permanent New York State teaching license.
