This past semester I had Dr. L tutor for my Calculus I class. Dr. L was a great teacher who was extremely knowledgeable about the subject matter. Each lesson we went through the chapter that I was currently on in depth. He would start by giving an overview that really helped me to understand the concepts before delving into the specific work. Every section we worked through, Dr. L was able to simplify the concepts all from memory alone, which was very impressive. When it came to homework and projects, Dr. L was also extremely helpful. I've been scared of math for a very long time now. I withdrew from intermediate algebra twice and my SAT math scores have expired.
