I taught Montessori education for 40 years. I worked with children from 3 years to 6 years. I have tutored extensively in early phonics, reading and math. I have also tutored in French. I want to continue to be actively involved with children and their growth. The past two years I have substituted all grades from pre-school through 6th grade. I am willing to travel to your home....
ADD/ADHD
During my 40 yrs of teaching in the Montessori method I have had many children benefit from the small class size and individual attention given to students with ADD/ADHD, Aspergers and Dyslexia. I have attended many seminars and workshops on how to use whatever approach is necessary to help these children succeed, and I can proudly say that with my help they have reached over and above what was expected. Patience and a calm approach is an added benefit.
