Hello! I'm Florida Certified in Elementary Education (K-6) as well as Exceptional Student Education (K-12). I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. I have worked the last 8 years teaching specialized education to struggling students. I have a strong focus and ability to help struggling readers, and students struggling with mathematics skills, and test taking strategies. I also have extensive teaching experience working with Elementary level students with various disabilities, including but not limited to, students with Attention Defecit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disabilities (ID, IND), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Emotional/Behavioral Disorder (EBD), Down Syndrome, Muscular Sclerosis (MS), Prader-Willi Syndrome, Intermitten Explosive Disorder, Conduct Disorder(CD), and OHI- Other Health Impairments. I am also well prepared for gifted students. I have a gift with students who struggle with decoding unfamiliar words and loss of comprehension skills. I am passionate about helping students find the joy in learning. I believe in using programs that have been scientifically proven to help. I don't believe in wasting time or money, yours or mine.
