My strongest influence in school was my first grade teacher, who imparted strong values, as did my family, to the world of knowledge and wonderment of the world around us. Tutoring takes me back to those wonderful moments and to recreate them with a student really does put a smile on my face, not to mention theirs! I have taught pre-K through College, and must admit that my one on one time is my favorite because of that connection when the lightbulb goes off and its a Wow! for the student. ...
