I must say Ms. Shelisha has been a "GOD Sent". Although I work in Boston but live in Ft. Lauderdale, I have a conversation with my wife and son every day. My wife is very pleased her technique in teaching, and my son called me last night to say how he's looking forward to Ms. Shelisha's tutorage each day. Heck, my son looking forward to learning! Well maybe we need to pay her more, but instead, my family and I say thanks. Any parents wanting their child to grow educationally would do well with Ms. Shelisha.

After talking on the phone with Shelisha, I knew she would get along with my son and daughter and I was right. As we emigrated from Europe we soon found out that our children knew nothing about writing an essay and they got really frustrated with getting straight F grades. School tried to help them out but honestly said it still was very hard on them. Shelisha came to our home knowing this would be a big challenge to get a 4th grade student and a 7th grade student to understand all and to be able to write different essays. Our children are starting to get confident in the writing and look forward to Shelisha's lessons. Her picture words are a favorite game and the understanding that it brings is what they need. I would without any doubt recommend Shelisha to any parent that feels like their children could do better. Shelisha loves to read and tells my children about all the adventures they can find in books. Then she tells them that these adventures are the same as their daily stories and that she loves to read about those on paper in details. I mean.. a teacher that wants to know what you have been reading, makes jokes with you AND assists in your progress. Shelsiha, you rock!
