I have worked with special needs students for many years, as a Guidance Director in an accredited private school in South Florida. The areas of exceptionality include: ADHD, learning disabilities, Aspergers Syndrome, emotional diagnoses (including anxiety and depression) and developmentally delayed children. I have a true passion for providing encouragement and support, while trying to motivate students to overcome their obstacles. My primary educational experiences include working in the field of Guidance and Counseling at the elementary, middle and high school levels, as well as working with young adults. I hope to have the opportunity to help students with these various learning differences, especially on an individual basis.
