I have been tutoring students and in middle and high school for approximately three years. Before that, I pursued and earned a degree in English Education, but found a compelling job in the non-profit sector. My love of academics and working with students is still strong, and I've committed to tutoring as a way of staying connected to teaching. As an undergraduate student I earned a BFA in Theatre Performance. My studies included a wide range of theatre history, performance, directing and design/technical subjects, and I was involved in over 10 productions throughout the course of the program. Also, during my student teaching assignment, as required as part of my graduate studies, I successfully designed and implemented an introductory Theatre class for 9-10th graders.
