Abe agreed to tutor my son, even though I unfortunately gave him very short notice. He also agreed to travel quite a distance. He is very empowering and doesn't let the student think or feel badly about himself. He is not intimidating at all, but still has full control and direction of the lesson. My teenage son was very relaxed and much more confident after the very first lesson. He guides the student, but doesn't do the work for them. The student sees for himself that he can do the work. Abe clearly knows how to effectively tutor. He doesn't drag things out, which would require more lessons. His focus is on making the student feel like he can handle anything the course hands him. We feel lucky to have found a person like him.

First day I met with him I lacked the fundamentals I needed for Algebra, with the first lesson he immediately helped me regain them! He's very patient and already sees the best in you and he tries his to make the most fun out of the lesson and apply it in such a way that's more understandable to you. This is my second lesson and I already see progress, before I couldn't solve the simplest problem in my head and now I can do it within seconds. He's not one of those tutors that you pay and they sit down with you and do the problems for you and expect you to know them. He makes sure you're putting in the work and effort and will take out time to make sure that you understand the information you're digesting. He's also very reliable he'll get back to you within the span of less than a couple of hours and he works a schedule around what's most convenient for you as well as he comes on time!
