The only other thing I have ever had a tutor for was for my SATs back in high school, so I was a little wary about getting one for financial accounting, but I definitely needed to pass this class. I came to WyzAnt and I am so happy that I did. Rafael has helped me gain confidence in this subject, which I did not have at all. He actually wanted to make sure I understood the concepts and knew how to do the problems. He was very patient with me. It sometimes would take me awhile to fully grasp some things and he was very understanding that it is a lot more difficult for some people. I would definitely recommend him to anyone that struggles in financial accounting. It is a great investment! I will definitely be in contact with him again once I start managerial accounting.

Rafael knows his field inside and out. Accounting can be a tough subject to understand because of the many different concepts and theories, however, Rafael knows exactly how to break it down for you to understand them. Rafael is very well educated in any part of the business world. No matter what classes you are taking as a business major, Rafael would be the go to guy. Many people are knowledgeable about these subjects but are not able to teach them to people. Rafael is not only knowledgeable about the subjects but he is also a great teacher and a down to earth person. He has a lot of background in finance, economics, and accounting. I am an accounting major currently in my junior year of college and taking my first accounting classes. I plan on having more lessons with Rafael as my education continues and my courses get tougher. Even though we were going over Financial Accounting, I learned a lot more from Rafael that pertains to economics and finance that will help me in other classes as well. No matter what your major is, or whether or not you are in college yet, Rafael will give you the tools and motivation you need to succeed!

I was very fortunate to have Rafael as my tutor for an Intermediate Accounting course I recently had. The Intermediate Accounting course was much more advanced than my previous accounting courses so the concepts and homework was frustrating trying to figure it out on my own. It was not until I started my tutoring sessions with Rafael, that I gained an understanding of the subject. Rafael has a great way of explaining the concepts and how to organize the overwhelming information on the homework. He was always very professional and patient. I would not have done as well in the course if it was not for the tutoring sessions. I will definitely use Rafael for any future Accounting courses I take.
