Having been an active member of MTNA, FSMTA, MSMTA and FFMC since 1969, teaching piano, theory, voice, and organ, I have been able to instill artistic skills in every student of different personalities and learning styles from age 5 to adults. Skills learned were technique, theory, ear training, touch and tone production, memorization, music appreciation and history, performance, etc. Playing the piano involves a combination of visual, kinaesthetic, aural, and analytical skills. On April 21, 2012, all my students who entered the FSMTA Student Day received Honors in Written Theory, Aural Theory and Performance.

Nora is a very professional, kind, patient, and knowledgeable teacher. I did not know how to read music or play more than two songs on the piano before I met her. We found Ms. P through WyzAnt for our 2nd grader who hated writing. Ms. P was very patient adapted her pace to suit our little one and kept with her plan. Initially we were not sure if this would work. But after a month, we started seeing a change in our daughter's ability to express her thought in writing. In the end of second month, she became creative with new ideas and all of a sudden writing was a fun activity! Which really wow'ed us! Its a real blessing to find a great teacher. Norma is an awesome tutor for my teenage son. She is very professional. She invariably arrives on time and consistently comes prepared with an individualized study plan for my son. She is also very knowledgeable with the subject material. In addition, she is very patient and allows my son time to work out the math problems.
