I have worked in the education arena for 17 years both as a teacher for 9 years and as an assistant principal for 8 years. I've had the opportunity to work with advanced, gifted and struggling students. All labeled as ADD and ADHD. I have been to numerous ESE trainings and have applied learning strategies to my lessons and have been more than successful with my former students. As an administrator, I trained my teachers and taught them successful strategies that assisted with struggling students. My teachers witnessed first hand the increased academic gains that their students made through my leadership and training techniques/strategies. I am more than qualified to work with struggling and at-risk students through my experience as a 17 year educational leader.
