I have over 14 years of experience teaching Portuguese to corporate students as well as individuals. Lied knows her Portuguese. She is very professional and always is prompt and on time. I appreciate that she has also been pretty flexible with her schedule with me since I can not always meet at the same times or days. My Portuguese has improved so much since taking lessons with her. I will sometimes slip and speak to her in English and she will always remind me to speak in Portuguese. We always communicate in Portuguese via text and she has daily tweets with Portuguese vocab words to study. I would suggest using her if you are looking to learn Portuguese.

Lied is very patient, diligent and a good teacher. She is flexible and fun to learn from. My Portuguese language skills have gone from very little to a good intermediate student in about three months or so, averaging about 1 or 2 90 minute lessons. I have been motivated to study, especially combining my lessons with the Pimsleur tapes and Portugese for Dummies. She pushes me gently to learn even more, and has encouraged me to email and even text in Portuguese. I recommend her highly.
