I have a degree in Elementary Education and experience teaching in a variety of settings, but my favorite way to teach is one-on-one. What I like about tutoring is that I can monitor student progress closely and modify lessons immediately as needed. What I LOVE about tutoring is getting to be there for that "Aha!" moment, when a student suddenly understands something they have been struggling with, or realizes that they can do something they thought they couldn't do.
