I have taught and used databases for over 15 years. Access is a relational database, linking tables enabling the user to create useful queries. I have used Access and other database programs - MS Works, FileMaker and others to maintain records and inventory. I am current with the latest versions of Microsoft 2010 version of Access,and can assist you in setting up tables, formatting data and creating queries.

I have a CAS degree in Computer Education from Fairfield University. I was IT leader for the Trumbull Public Schools for 14 years. In that role, I assisted the technology department with the extensive networking of the computers for the district.In addition, I taught students about networking - what it means and how the computers and hardware were connected to a server. At home I have created both a wired and wireless network and have taught others how to set these up in their own homes. Networking computers involves connecting hardware (computer, printer, scanner etc.) so that they can share resources. Home networking involves using a router - either wired or wireless - to connect these shared resources. Routers, if wireless, should be set up with security encryption.

I continued my music studies at Western CT State University where I earned my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Music Education. I taught music in the Trumbull Public Schools as choir, general music and band director for Madison Middle School. As general music teacher I won the state's "Celebration of Excellence" award for creative and innovative teaching.

I have studied piano since I was 8 years old, performing on local television, church and being the pianist for various musicals. I taught music in the Trumbull Public Schools as choir, general music and band director for Madison Middle School. Since 1976 I have also been organist and/or choir director for several local churches. At present I am the music director at St. Elizabeth Seton Parish in Ridgefield, CT.

I have run a summer "camp" for youth teaching Flash, from the basic motion effects, to the more complicated action scripts. In addition, I worked with the students at school, helping them to create Flash movies for the school's website.
