As a graduate student, I worked in the University of New Orleans (UNO) Writing Center for AY 2014-2015. In the Writing Center, we did one-on-one sessions both in-person and online. The following year, I taught Freshman Composition for two semesters (AY 2015-2016). The university trained us to make our classes student-centered.
