Hi, My name is Ashley and I would love to be your tutor. I have an MBA, as well as a Bachelor's in Marketing. Both my degrees are from the University of Central Florida. I enjoy helping students with test prep, and I have scored well on the SAT, ACT, and GMAT exams. I also specialize in grammar and proofreading. Our son wanted to attend University of Florida. Although he was an AP Scholar with a 4.6 GPA and in Mu Alpha Theta, he had test-taking issues and was not achieving the required score on the reading portion of the SAT. Also he knew he could get a much higher score on the math portion. Ashley responded immediately, worked with his schedule, and was a tremendous help. Ashley proves that not only is she knowledgable in the subject area she tutors but that she will stick with you until you get to the finish line. I had a 15 page paper that I was struggling through to make deadline. I was probably would have given up if not for the encouragement and support Ashley gave me. She worked me until almost midnight never losing energy or her positive attitude. When you need a tutor that will really get you to the finish line no matter what it takes, Ashley is the best.

When Ashley first came over to meet with my daughter they sat on the porch and talked for an hour. I called this the "get to know each other" session. I figured it was better to waste $40 to find that they did not get along than it would be to pay for a tutor that just did not work. Toward the end I explained to Ashley that I had hired her for one goal. This goal was to make sure that my daughter graduated. I did not care if she came over and just did organizational details or spent time actually tutoring. Ashley was GREAT! She and my daughter laughed so many times. She explained things that really made things stick. I remember one night after she had left that I read her posting which indicated that she felt that additional study time was needed after she left. With most teenagers this does not always happen. My daughter went to school the next day with no additional studying but the way that Ashley explained things made her remember. She aced the test! It was just awesome! Ashley has a great way of working with kids and going through each area that is needed. She worked very hard the last week of school to make sure that my daughter was ready for her exams the next day. Although it was down to the very last hour my daughter walked across the stage just as I hired Ashley to make sure happened. I will keep her in mind as my son enters in to high school this next year!

My son Jaret is very pleased with Ashley. He feels that she has helped him a lot in preparing to take the ACT. When I asked him what was the best thing he liked about having Ashley as a tutor he said, "She is very patient. She doesn’t get aggravated when I don’t understand something. She works through it with me until I do understand.†He also said “She knows her stuffâ€. This is very desirable for a tutor when preparing to take the ACT, so only one teacher is needed to prepare. As a parent, I love how supportive Ashley has been scheduling times that are convenient for Jaret. She also does a wonderful review of each lesson she has with Jaret. I know exactly what was accomplished with each session and feel that I am definitely getting my money's worth. Ashley is an exceptional teacher and would use her again in a heartbeat.
