I was born in Brazil and lived in that country for 50 years. I majored in Portuguese Language and Literature at Universidade de São Paulo and was a teacher in public schools for 22 years. After only two lessons with Mr. Flavio, I knew he was an incredible teacher. He was very patient in explaining the words and meanings behind the words. He was even patient in understanding my busy work schedule and the fact that I had a newborn at home and our lesson times would have to work around the hiccups of all of that! Talk about prepared - he has incredible lesson plans and you get a sense that you are almost sitting in a University classroom. In just two weeks I feel as if I have learned so much and I am looking forward to many more lessons to come.
