I love to teach reading and writing. I write my own curriculum in reading. One suggestion, have you child's hearing tested to make sure they can hear all syllables. It could be a hearing problem keeping your child from reading. Also, have their eyes checked to make sure they can see well. If a child does not see well, they will struggle to read.
