As a teacher, I have three important priorities: to help students to improve their English or Spanish communication and comprehension skills, to build their self-confidence in speaking, reading and writing, and to enjoy learning. Maria met with my son to discuss what he is currently learning and what he is having trouble with at this time. According to my son she does a better job explaining Spanish than his teacher. She is easy to listen to and calm. UPDATE: Thanks to Maria my son isn't failing Spanish anymore. He received a B on his midterm! She also helped him complete a lesson using Spanish verbs. He earned a 100! We have been extremely happy with his improvement.
