I have had a passion for teaching for over 15 years. However, my educational career didn't start with teaching but as a nurse. My goal was to become a nurse. But to support myself through college, I accepted a job as a long-term substitute teacher. Interacting with the students and seeing how I could positively influence them, moved me to change my major to become an educator.
