I have worked as a Special Education assistant for 3 years. I have worked in a MOID [Moderately Intellectually Disabled] classroom where I assisted in the daily learning activities for autistic and down syndrome students. I am patient and knowledgeable of strategies and non-verbal communication methods for facilitating student learning and development.

I currently am working in the Bibb county school system. I work with special needs Moderately Intellectually Developed [MOID] students. I have worked with MOID students for five years. My students include several on the Autistic spectrum as well as Downs Syndrome and ADD/ADHD students.
