I want to say a great thanks to Ann. Ann is very patient and intelligent. My children love to have classes with her. They usually do a lot of interesting exercises during the lesson. Listen!"(After that my husband asked him to translate as he doesn't know English! My son did great!!!) Then Ann told my children the history of Thanksgiving Holiday. How people preparing for this day, which food is cooking. And they made beautiful cards to me as presents for Thanksgiving. The next day Ann even brought turkey for my children that cooked at home. It was delicious!!! Today Ann and my children cooked cakes together!! My children were EXCITED!! They were so happy to make with their hands!! While they were cooking they talked, talked, talked to each other. In that moment I realized they absolutely happy!! They were so proud themselves!! Thank you, Ann, for everything you do for us!! WE LOVE YOU!!

My daughter began working with Ann about seven months ago. She is 11 years old and has always struggled with reading. We first noticed the problem in second grade, so this is something we have been dealing with for several years. Before coming to Ann I tried everything I could think of to help my daughter, from moving from public to private school, Kumon and school provided services. While she did always improve nothing has compared to the gains she has made in working with Ann. When my daughter first began with Ann at the end of last Feb her skills were evaluated and even though she was about half way through fourth grade she was reading on a mid third grade level, so she was over a full year below grade level. Ann just reevaluated her for the beginning of the new school year and she is now reading slightly above her current grade level! So, in seven months (including summer when we didn't spend a lot of time with Ann) my daughter has come from being more than a year behind to being a little bit ahead! Ann has an amazing way of connecting with my daughter and getting her excited about the work they are doing together. Ann personalizes her teaching to meet my child's personality, interests and needs. What Ann has been able to do for my daughter is worth every penny we pay and every mile we drive to get to her! Raising children takes a village, Ann is an instrumental member of our village.
