ADD/ADHD
I hold a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and am certified to teach Pre K - 5th grade. When introduced to my hands-on approach to learning, students are interested and focused on the tasks I provide. After years of teaching, I am well aware of the many strategies, which provide optimal learning for those with ADHD. During my sessions with students who have ADHD, I look for ways for them to move around while they learn, offering opportunities for them to use manipulatives. It often helps to break lessons into segments that are thought provoking to help students attend.
