I began my teaching career in Miami, Florida with Miami Dade County Public Schools in 1990 as a Paraprofessional. In 1996 I completed my degree in Elementary Education and began my career as an Instructional Educator. I taught in various grade levels and in varying capacities with this District until 2007 when I moved to Atlanta, Georgia. I worked in Dekalb County School System until 2010.
