My seven year old son's handwriting was illegible. Because of this, he was scoring very low on some of his school assignments. Sometimes the answers weren't wrong; you just couldn't read them. He started lessons with Mrs. Ginger, and his hand writing improved in just a few short weeks. Last week, his teacher told me that he had written his best story ever! I highly recommend Mrs. Ginger, and my son thinks she is very nice too!

My daughter is in first grade and just wasn't at the reading level she needed to be. We were having a very difficult time getting her to read with us at home so we decided to look for a tutor. She likes to explain all the detail that my kids need to do for writing and reading too. My kids love her and are really excited to meet her. Ms. Ginger was able to pick up quickly that my daughter is very sensitive. She was very encouraging and made it fun for her. She was also quick to notice my 1st grader had memorized her "fluency" book sent home from the school. Something I had wondered about. I think she is going to be an excellent help to my 1st grader and help her build her confidence and overcome her dyslexia! UPDATE: 10/13 In less than a year, Ginger had made a HUGE difference in my daughter's reading a ability. It was a slow start, but she is reading things I wasn't sure she would ever be able to read!

Ms. Ginger is a phenomenal tutor. She has been working with my son for about 5 months. When he first started his lessons with Ms. Ginger he was not very excited to go to a tutor for help with school. Since that time and with a lot of patience from Ms. Ginger; he has started to enjoy his lessons. His penmanship and spelling have increased tremendously and his reading comprehension has grown as well due to her review of basic phonics and grammar rules. He has come a long way in the 5 months that he has been working with Ms. Ginger, and I would highly recommend her as a tutor. Ginger is absolutely wonderful to work with. She has been working with our son following poor results on admission testing. Ginger was AMAZING!! My 7 year old LOVED his time with her and called it FUN! She educated him with reading and everything associated with that.. He struggles with reading and spelling and she gave us a great book to help and tips to help him with spelling. I definitely would refer her to any child!
