Get the understanding you need to do well on your physics or math exams! I earned my Ph.D. in physics at Georgia Tech and tutor physics and math at both the college or high school level. My tutoring style is 1) to the point, 2) friendly, and 3) fun because I love explaining and solving physics and math problems to those that are eager to learn. I'll explain the concepts so you gain the context you need to understand the "what" and the "why" surrounding each concept. Context is critical fo...

As a distance student at Georgia Tech taking Calculus II, I thought it would be impossible to find a tutor who would be willing to help me with my coursework. Thankfully, I found Dr. Frank, who is extremely knowledgeable and enjoyed the challenge. In working with him, he was able to give me a more complete picture of what I was learning and its applications. He also provided invaluable advice on the workings of college courses which helped me succeed. He certainly knows his stuff and works very hard to help you master the material.

This review comes from the father of Kenneth. It is because of the time and effort that Mr. Frank H. took to keep me informed as the parent during the tutoring schedule that I feel that I can comprehensively evaluate the sessions that my son had with Mr. H. During the sessions, Mr. H developed a relationship with my son to not only address the academic needs, but to guide my son on the future of his academic study in engineering. After each session Mr. H provided emails and or conversations as to the progress that my son was making and what were the goals of the future session. This gave me a comfort that Mr. H was willing to do what ever it took for my son to be successful in this course. Again outstanding tutor and mentor. I would highly recommend Mr. H.

Dr. Frank tutored my son in Differential Equations. Will thought his time with Dr. Frank was very valuable as Dr. Frank is very clear in his instruction and he had prepared well, even to the point of having notes for Will to take home after every session. My son is a physics major and his only regret is that he did not discover Dr. Frank earlier in his coursework!!

Dr. Frank is very concerned with the success of his students. He has been instrumental in raising my daughter's AP physics scores 20 points.

When my high schooler needed help in a very challenging dual enrollment class (college calculus II), the smartest thing I did was to hire Dr. Frank. He is an excellent and patient teacher, and he comes thoroughly prepared for every lesson. He made extensive notes on every topic and provided them to my son. Consequently, my son gained a better understanding of each topic and was much more confident about his ability to do well in the class. He performed much better on subsequent tests after beginning tutoring sessions with Dr. Frank. In addition, we began to feel like Dr. Frank was a part of our family. We look forward to his visits and are thankful to have found such a fantastic tutor. He is easy to reach and extremely reliable. I highly recommend Dr. Frank. He is worth every last penny of his hourly fee.

Dr. Frank is a great tutor. We started out with the basic keys and concepts of Cal II material and he explained things in a way that have never been taught to me before; allowing me to better understand the subject.

Joseph M. from Atlanta, GA

Frank came to the appointment shockingly well prepared. He knows his calculus and trig cold. I highly recommend him if you're having trouble with math.

Ansley (student) C. from Suwanee, GA

Dr. Frank did a great job at simplifying confusing calculus principles for my son taking college calculus I. He is willing to put in the time and effort to figure out what my son did and did not understand.

Taylor S. from Roswell, GA

Frank was a great tutor, very well organized! He was totally prepared for things that I had questions about and gave great tips. I feel very confident taking my final in Calculus 2. I highly recommend him for any type of tutoring!

In preparation for my return to college, I decided to learn at least 2 of the subjects I was going to be taking to get them out of the way. I mean, anything less than $1000 is small money compared to most tuition nowadays. When I tried to self-teach myself physics 2 and multivariable calculus, I was overwhelmed by the types of problems and different online videos I could've used to teach myself with. I used the Harvard and MIT resources, but the subject matter seemed to be covered in so many different ways, compared to what I would need to know. That's where Dr. Frank came in. He has quite a bit of experience when it comes to math and physics just looking at his resume, but this wasn't what drew me to him. He knew exactly what I needed to be taught, and he did it with such enthusiasm and command. Even though he has a busy schedule, he has taken his time just to prepare the lessons in such a way that I get the essentials. The environment was casual, and the dialogue he allowed between us was involving enough to get me thinking about the problems in a more detailed manner. My first lesson, it showed that he obviously did his research. He found past syllabi, past midterms, etc. and compiled them for me. He then taught me straight from the syllabus, enough to the point that I could complete the first midterm after the 2nd week of tutoring. In short, Dr. Frank: enthusiastic, organized, commanding.

This was our first experience in hiring a tutor. I have been very pleased with Dr. Frank. He is thorough and genuine in his desire to help my daughter. He is very patient and enthusiastic about the subject. This helps with the fact that this is definitely not the student's favorite pastime! He does his best to put her at ease and has been very open with feedback on their sessions. Would recommend to anyone.

Great contact established between Frank and my son. Very productive first session: Frank is passionate and gives clear explanations. My son is looking forward to the next ones. Thanks Frank!

Wanted to get my bearings in Calculus and Physics. Dr. Frank knew exactly what we needed to cover. Was also very patient and great and making complex subjects understandable. Having no issues in either subject thanks to Dr. Frank!

Bradley S. from Atlanta, GA

Prepared me well for the test I'm about to take tomorrow in a very short amount of time. Both of the previous tests have been high and I feel ready for the next one.

We have been absolutely thrilled with Dr. Frank as a Physics and Calculus tutor for our son. Truly, we feel so lucky to have found him. Not only has he been an excellent tutor of Physics & Calculus, but he has been an inspiration to our son in his studies. Always a very positive, uplifting mentor that makes sure our son knows the topic cold before moving forward. We would not hesitate to recommend him for tutoring!!!

Thea M. from Lawrenceville, GA

AMAZING! We were very distressed and knew my son was capable of doing better in math and physics. Dr. Frank was very comforting to me and my son. He told my son he knew he'd be able to get it, and he was right. My son has only been tutoring with Dr. Frank for 4 sessions and he was nearly failing Algebra 2 and Physics. His last test in algebra 2 was 100 and his last test in physics was an 86. Dr. Frank is straightforward and "real". He can get the concepts across very easily. We are so thankful to have found Dr. Frank when we did.
