Erskine
A Witty Engineer with Great Math, English, and Science Skills
I am currently working as an Environmental Engineer for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Atlanta. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from the University of Florida (GO GATORS) as well as a Master of Science in Bioengineering from Georgia Institute of Technology (GO YELLOW JACKETS). Unlike many engineers, I actually have a sense of humor and so I make learning fun and interesting. Also, I pay close attention to details and so a nonchala...

Erskine has been great! He takes the time to discuss progress, strategies, etc. with my wife and I at the end of each session. More impressive, is that he sends our son texts throughout the week as reminders or to check on test results! That, to me, is the extra effort we appreciate!

Erskine is very patient and works extremely well with my son. When Erskine started tutoring my son he had a 49% in Algebra I. Now after a few months he has a 90% and it would be higher if not for the fact that my son misses out on "on time quizzes" when he is tardy and also misses points for failing to bring his book to class. I can't say enough good things about Erskine.

Erskine is very good at explaining concepts in a way that relates to the lesson. I am a college statistics student currently taking an intro to statistics class. I will be using Erskine when i take the main statistics class. After the lesson i could do the work on my own which is a plus. However i will always come to Erskine to study for big tests/ finals.

Erskine tutored me in Honors Pre-Calculus for several months in my second semester of senior year. I was struggling to maintain passing grades, and, as I saw it, I had to seek outside help if I was going to do well. I can gladly look back and say that getting Erskine as a tutor was one of my smartest decisions. With his help, I raised my grade a full letter from a middling D to a high C. Erskine has an effective style of engaging you in the content that you're learning and making the subject at the very least interesting. That was my big problem, I could not wrap my head around the material. Erskine helped me to finally understand it. So, if you're in need of a good math tutor, you need not look further. Also, thanks Erskine!

Erskine was able to demonstrate more than one method to calculate math problems and would show different ways until you found one that made sense for you. He was very patient and had a great sense of humor too, which made a stressful subject much easier and helped build the student's self confidence in the subject. Very good tutor!

Erskine is a wonderful, patient, understanding tutor! He knows how my daughter learns, what she is comfortable with and not comfortable with and helps her learn in a very thoughtful, considerate manner.

I was able to learn a lot about grouping, Standard Deviations and finding the right dataset. We had a lot of fun learning and Erskine is a wonderful person to be around it deserve 8 stars.
