ADD/ADHD
When working with children with ADD/ADHD, all lessons will be presented in small segments with a lot of interaction in order to maximize the child's attention span. Activities and lessons will incorporate movement and strategies appropriate for keeping the child's attention. Your child will learn how to organize their thoughts and ideas, as well as their materials in order to be successful. I have spent the past twelve years working with ADD/ADHD children helping them focus their efforts on their academic classes and improving their grades. I have worked as an afterschool tutor for over 17 years in various settings from recreational to educational that involved ADD/ADHD students.
