I began tutoring third and fourth graders during the summer at the age of thirteen. In my Junior year of high school, I became a teacher’s aide for a ninth-grade English class. At the beginning of the semester, most of the student had issues with grammar and structure. Working with them one-on-one helped them to excel and pass the state mandated English exam.
