When the light finally went on for me, I ended up teaching my younger sister how to read out of a 2nd grade reader and print and write cursive before she was in 1st grade. I have been a professional opera singer, Broadway musical theater singer/actor for 20 years. I have sung roles with many opera companies around the country. As well, I was a cast member in the national Broadway tour of The Phantom of the Opera, touring the U.S. and Canada 365 days a year for 12 years. I have seen/experienced/lived theater from the inside out and have been paid very well for my efforts. I have a great artistic and technical eye when it comes to assessing and over all production or watching a performer creating a role and telling a believable story.
