In graduate school, I specialized in organic research at the University of Iowa. I was also a graduate assistant at the University of Iowa, where I assisted with both General and Organic Lab. I then proceeded into my teaching career, where I was a professor of General and Organic Chemistry at Kirkwood Community College on a one-year temporary contract.
