Cliff is excellent! I originally hired him to help my 15yr old with Geometry. Cliff is the first tutor to come prepared and invest the time in understanding my son, how he thinks, his strengths and weaknesses. Cliff was the first person to sort out whether my son's grades reflected a lack of understanding or just careless mistakes from my son’s need to rush through. Before arriving each week Cliff would log on and look at my son's weekly test and determine where the focus for tutoring needed to be for that day. Again, I REALLY appreciate the time he took to prepare!!! Once the math grades started to increase, I had Cliff perform a writing assessment on my son. Cliff edited 5 of my son’s papers. He provided very detailed comments within each paper. Cliff met with my husband and I to provide us an overview of his finding as well as a suggested plan of attack to strengthen the weak areas. In addition, I love receiving emails after each session detailing what was accomplished. If you are seeking a tutor, look no further than Cliff.

5/30/2014 We are extremely happy with the tutoring service provided by Cliff and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs help with math. He is always punctual, friendly, and patient. Our son needed some extra help with algebra and Cliff did a wonderful job at explaining some of the difficult concepts in a clearly understandable manner. He used good examples and guided our son to understand rather than doing the work for him. After just a couple of sessions with Cliff our son scored much better on his tests than he had in a long time. I wish we had used him sooner because our son clearly benefited greatly from his tutoring. 3/3/2015 We are now having Cliff help our younger son with Algebra 1. As before, Cliff has been really friendly and helpful. He "knows his stuff" and we have already seen an improvement in our son's grades and understanding after just a couple of sessions.

I have had my son with many different tutors including Huntington learning center on and off for the common core math. My son has struggled and has never quite really "got it" enough to have a decent grade in class until I recently had Cliff start tutoring my son. In just about 4 lessons my son was able to understand the math and recently ended up with a high B in math and a 88 on his recent Eoc! I would definitely recommend Cliff . Not only does he have a great way of teaching, but he can also tutor all different kind of subjects.

My daughter had several tutors before we looked into having a professional tutor for her. We hired Cliff to work with my 3rd and 5th grader in math and language twice a week. Before hiring him, my 5th grader's teacher told me that she was in danger of getting of D in math. We hired Cliff in March and by the end of the school year in June, she was one of two kids in her class who got an award for the most improved in math. Her math MAP score was a lot higher than was expected (based on Fall scores, there are predictions of how they will score on the end of the year MAP test) and she exceeded her personal score goal for the end of the year. She was so excited and her teacher was impressed! Both of my kids have really enjoyed working with him and both feel like they have learned a lot. My 3rd grader came out of tutoring one day and said, "Mom, I like math now." I have overheard my kids laughing during their sessions, so Cliff obviously has a way of making learning fun. I would love it if he could be their permanent teacher! I am very thankful that Cliff was able to work with my kids and I highly recommend him!
