In high school, I was the person people paid to write their papers. My work spoke for itself: my clients always got As. At some point before I was legally culpable (say, 17?), I realized that writing papers for others was not only immoral, but also unsatisfying. There was no fulfillment from simply lending my voice out to others; however, helping others hone their voice was a different matter.
