Experienced and Newly Retired Teacher
Before I began teaching, I was fortunate enough to spend a year with two master teachers, attend the Chicago Area Writing Project, attending a Dorothy Heathcote drama institute, and participating in a progressive education conference in Europe. These conferences solidified what I had already learned. My experience with writing lead me to give numerous writing workshops over the years in Lima, Peru; two schools in Santiago, Chile; La Serena, Chile, Campenas, Brazil (2 spring breaks in a row)...
