John has been so helpful to my son with AP calculus. He has such a thorough knowledge of the calculus curriculum that he never seems to need to take up tutoring time to figure out what my son's teacher is looking for with assignments. He is able to leap into helping my son as if he'd written the assignment or study guide himself. John patiently guides my son through proofs to establish a conceptual framework so my son grasps the underlying concepts and isn't just mechanically plugging numbers into formulas without understanding why the magic formulas work. Thanks to John's tutoring, my son is taking the kind of real joy in learning math that I haven't seen in a couple of years.

My son was struggling with AP Calculus. After one session my son walked away feeling more confident about the subject. John was patient and detailed in his approach. I am very pleased and hope hope that future sessions with John will help my son fully understand and succeed in passing this subject material.

We covered analytic trigonometry, and he seemed to have a thorough knowledge of the subject. I'll have him tutor me again.

John was very helpful with helping me to understand the basic concepts for precalc/trig. This was the first time I had my homework done in quite a bit so I am very thankful! Very knowledgeable instructor who I feel can help me get through this semester.

I am getting my M.S. in phsychology, and math is not my strong suit. John was very thorough and patient during our tutoring session. He took the time to address every concern and question when going over the topics of statistical probability and significance. Since our session, my grades have improved dramatically! I can now say that have a solid understanding of these concepts. Excellent.

John is very engaging and makes the session fun. He is very patient and makes sure you completely understand the problem. He finds a new way of explaining it if you don't get it the first time.
